KPFF Special Projects Division in Long Beach, CA, is seeking a Civil Engineer with 5+ years of site and civil development experience to join our team. You will work on a diverse range of heavy civil and industrial projects in downtown Long Beach, contributing to design, project management, and client service.

You will refine your expertise, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality solutions while growing within a supportive, hybrid work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum five years of full-time civil/site development design experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and design software listed.
• Internship experience is appreciated but not counted toward the minimum.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil design and development for heavy civil and industrial projects.
• Mentor entry-level engineers and interns on design tasks.
• Coordinate timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver projects.
