Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Sr Civil/Structural Engineer to lead our Akron team. You will act as Technical Lead, supervise projects from concept to completion, and mentor staff while representing the firm in client meetings.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of civil/structural design/build experience in power, chemicals, or manufacturing facilities, with an ABET-accredited degree and a PE license. Hybrid work is offered along with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

PE license required and valid in the state where work is performed.
ABET-accredited BS in Civil/Structural Engineering.
10+ years in civil/structural design/build for industrial facilities.
Engineer of Record with ability to seal for permits.
Strong knowledge of building codes related to civil/structural design.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering design and project execution for industrial facilities.
Represent the firm in client meetings and interface with owners and contractors.
Supervise projects from concept through completion; delegate work and mentor staff.
Provide design reviews and QA/QC across project teams.
Manage civil/structural design-build projects including scheduling and budgets.
