Job summary
LeoForce in Birmingham, AL is seeking an experienced structural engineer to lead large-scale projects from concept through construction. Join a respected engineering firm delivering complex industrial and manufacturing projects and work directly with clients while mentoring junior engineers.
You will design and analyze steel, concrete, and masonry structures, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, review drawings and reports, and support project planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering required.
- PE license required; SE preferred.
- 10+ years of structural engineering experience.
- Experience leading projects and multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead structural engineering projects from concept through construction.
- Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
- Design and analyze steel, concrete, and masonry structures.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, process, civil, and architectural teams.
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Meet with clients and support project planning efforts.
- Mentor and guide engineers and designers.
- Perform occasional site visits to gather information and support construction activities.
