Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and construction oversight for heavy civil projects in the tri-state area. You will collaborate with architects and project teams, conduct site investigations, and produce drawings and reports using AutoCAD 3D.

Strong geotechnical knowledge and 5 years in the field are required. Responsibilities include ensuring code compliance, mentoring junior staff, managing risks, and leading project meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's preferred.
• PE license required; New York/ Pennsylvania/ New Jersey strongly preferred.
• EIT or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years in construction, structural engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D and related engineering software.
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of structural components of projects.
• Collaborating with architects and engineers to determine project specifications.
• Conducting site investigations to gather data for planning and design.
• Preparing technical reports, designs, and drawings using AutoCAD 3D.
• Performing geotechnical analysis and foundation design.
• Ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Mentoring and guiding junior engineers and team members.
• Performing risk management and mitigation to minimize delays or costs.
• Participating in project meetings and reporting progress.
