Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking a Senior Engineer, Civil & Structural to lead the design and analysis of concrete foundations, steel structures, and related civil components on diverse energy projects.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate with customers and suppliers, ensure compliance with ASCE 7/IBC, and drive on-time, on-budget delivery while advancing safe, efficient, and innovative turbine and storage systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; PE licensure is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of related engineering experience.
• Experience in gas turbine design or rotating equipment foundations preferred.
• Knowledge of ASCE 7, IBC, AISC 360, ACI 318, OSHA required.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and analysis for steel structures and foundations.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and the parent company.
• Prepare technical requirements to support proposals and bids.
• Mentor engineers and supervise project execution schedules.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards across projects.
