Job summary
Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis of civil and structural components for power-generation projects. You will oversee a sub-team, ensure adherence to codes, and coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal groups to deliver safe, cost-effective foundations and structures.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and PE licensure required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a related engineering field.
- Experience in gas turbine design, auxiliary systems, nuclear engineering, or foundations for rotating equipment is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform, review, comment, and approve engineering design and structural analysis for steel structures and concrete foundations.
- Lead a sub-team of engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Engage with customers and suppliers to interpret design requirements and support proposals.
- Train engineers in structural analysis, calculation reports, and engineering judgment.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to resolve issues related to scope of supply.
