Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas is hiring a Civil/Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis of civil and structural components across projects, including foundations and enclosures. You will collaborate with engineers and staff to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with evolving codes and standards.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and PE preferred. Proficiency in STAAD, SAP2000, GT Strudl, AutoCAD or MicroStation, and SmartPlant 3D or

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required; PE preferred.
• 5+ years in related engineering field; PE preferred for gas turbine, auxiliary systems, foundations.
• Familiarity with ASCE 7, IBC, AISC 360, ACI 318, OSHA; knowledge of AISC 341, ACI 351, DIN 4024, ISO 1940 is a plus.
• Proficient in reading/writing technical reports and presenting information to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and analysis of civil/structural components for steel structures and foundations.
• Coordinate design requirements from customers, suppliers, and the parent company.
• Prepare and review budgets, bids, and technical requirements for proposals.
