Job summary

Pike Engineering is seeking a civil-structural engineer to lead and supervise transmission substation projects. Based in the Pittsburgh area, you will design foundations, structural steel, and containment systems, review drawings, manage schedules and budgets, and coordinate with clients and other disciplines. A PE license and an ABET-accredited degree are required, with 5–7 years of power delivery experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• PE license or eligible to be licensed within a year.
• 5–7 years of power delivery engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead discipline-specific civil-structural work for substation projects.
• Prepare and review drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Manage schedules and budgets and monitor deliverables.
• Support proposals, cost estimating, and client communications.
