Job summary

Pike Engineering in New Jersey is seeking a senior Civil-Structural Engineer to provide technical leadership and supervision for Transmission Substation engineering and design teams. You will deliver safe, cost-efficient engineering and design services, and guide complex civil-structural solutions for projects.

The role includes direct billable work and project management support, mentoring junior staff, and collaboration with clients to maintain quality and schedules.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
8+ years of experience as an engineer in electric power delivery.
Professional Engineering (PE) license.

Responsibilities

Identify, analyze, and resolve engineering and design problems.
Plan, organize, estimate, schedule, and monitor work activities.
Prepare technical reports, calculations, and sketches with accuracy.
Lead civil-structural design for substation projects and supervise staff.
Coordinate with clients and other disciplines to meet project goals.
Support proposals, cost estimating, and project cost management.
