Job summary

Pike Engineering is seeking a civil-structural engineer to provide engineering and supervision for Transmission Substation projects in the United States. The role includes billable project work, project management support, leading discipline-specific design, and responsible charge duties with schedule and budget oversight.

You will support proposals, cost estimating, and business development while interpreting specifications and creating civil-structural drawing packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• PE license within one year or ability to obtain licensure.
• 5–7 years of experience in electrical power delivery engineering.
• Ability to interpret specifications and create substation drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead discipline-specific work for projects, including design and supervision.
• Perform responsible charge engineering duties and manage schedules.
• Support proposal development, cost estimating, and business development.
• Collaborate with customers’ engineers and other disciplines on design.
• Monitor deliverables, budgets, and project milestones.
