Job summary

Pike Engineering seeks a civil-structural engineer to support Transmission Substation teams with design and direction on complex civil-structural challenges. The role involves billable project work, project management support, and collaboration with clients and engineers.

Applicants should have 2–4 years of electrical-substation experience, a Civil Engineering degree, and EIT; PE within two years is preferred. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 2–4 years of Civil/Structural Engineer experience in power delivery.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred; PE license within 2 years desired.
• Strong communication, reporting, and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide civil-structural design and direction for substation projects.
• Support project management, cost estimating, and scheduling.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and sketches.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and clients on complex issues.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with multiple disciplines.
