Pike Engineering in the United States seeks a Civil-Structural Engineer focused on transmission substation projects. You will provide design direction, perform responsible charge engineering, and support project schedules and budgets while interacting with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities include developing substation civil-structural drawings, estimating project scopes, and mentoring junior staff, with emphasis on safety, quality, and cost effectiveness in power delivery

Qualificações

• Regular attendance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 2-4 years experience as a Civil/Structural Engineer in electrical power delivery.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) strongly preferred; PE license target within two years.
• Experience in the electric utility industry and ability to read civil-structural drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Provide civil-structural engineering and design support for transmission substation projects.
• Plan, estimate, schedule, and monitor work activities and budgets.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and drawings with attention to standards.
• Develop substation civil-structural drawing packages (foundations, steel, bus, cables).
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with other disciplines and clients when needed.
