Job summary

Venture Engineering & Construction, Inc. seeks an experienced Civil Structural Engineer (PE) to lead engineering efforts on complex industrial and energy projects in the Pittsburgh area.

You will serve as Engineer of Record, stamp designs, and drive technical analysis and documentation. This role emphasizes client relationships, project leadership, mentoring junior staff, and collaboration with mechanical, process, electrical, and construction teams to deliver safe, compliant, and cost-effective

Qualifications

• PE license required and Civil Engineering degree.
• At least 15 years of civil/structural experience.
• Strong background in steel and reinforced concrete design.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil and structural design for industrial and renewable energy facilities.
• Act as Engineer of Record and stamp design documents.
• Perform structural analysis, foundation design, site calculations.
• Develop specifications, reports, construction documents.
• Collaborate with mechanical, process, electrical, and construction teams.
• Mentor designers and junior engineers.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Support project planning, budgeting, proposals, and cost estimates.
• Ensure designs comply with codes and standards.
