Venture Engineering & Construction, Inc. seeks an experienced Civil Structural Engineer (PE) to lead engineering efforts on complex industrial and energy projects in the Pittsburgh area.

You will serve as Engineer of Record, stamp designs, and drive technical analysis and documentation. This role emphasizes client relationships, project leadership, mentoring junior staff, and collaboration with mechanical, process, electrical, and construction teams to deliver safe, compliant, and cost-effective

Qualifications

• PE license required and Civil Engineering degree.
• At least 15 years of civil/structural experience.
• Strong background in steel and reinforced concrete design.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and client relationships.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Civil Structural Engineer (PE) to lead engineering efforts on complex industrial and energy projects. What You'll Do

• Lead civil and structural engineering design for industrial and renewable energy facilities.
• Serve as Engineer of Record and provide professional review and PE stamping of design documents.
• Perform and oversee structural analysis, foundation design, site development calculations, and related engineering studies.
• Develop technical specifications, reports, construction documents, and engineering deliverables.
• Collaborate with mechanical, process, electrical, and construction teams throughout project execution.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to designers and junior engineers.
• Interface directly with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Assist with project planning, budgeting, proposals, and cost estimates.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and best engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 15+ years of civil and structural engineering experience.
• Strong background in structural steel and reinforced concrete design.
• Experience in performing engineering calculations and technical analysis independently.
• Working knowledge of ASCE, ASTM, and applicable industry standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with STAAD or similar structural analysis software.
