Hargrove Engineers + Constructors in Pasadena, TX seeks a Civil Structural Engineer with extensive civil/structural design experience. You will lead design tasks, develop conceptual layouts, prepare detailed calculations, and coordinate with drafting and other disciplines to ensure timely project delivery.

The role requires 10+ years in the field, strong knowledge of IBC/ASCE/AISC/ACI standards, and the ability to manage teams across scope and schedule.

Qualifications

• Requires BS/MS in Civil Engineering; PE registration preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant civil/structural engineering experience.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate multi-discipline projects.
• Experience with building codes (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI).

Responsibilities

• Perform complete design of complex civil/structural assignments.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies.
• Produce preliminary designs and material take-offs.
• Check calculations and assist drafting group.
• Lead project teams and ensure scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
