Midrex seeks a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to lead the design of foundations and structures for Direct Reduction plants and new tech initiatives. You will supervise engineers and designers, coordinate with multiple departments, and ensure structural integrity across projects.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and 10+ years in an industrial setting; PE preferred. Travel domestically and internationally up to 25% is expected, with a focus on delivering robust,

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required for Civil/Structural Engineer role.
• Minimum 10 years in industrial/technical environments, steel industry preferred.
• PE registration preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual design and perform civil/structural calculations for foundations and structures.
• Provide technical direction to subcontractors and clients on structures and foundations.
• Administer sub-contracts for civil/structural design or materials and report changes.
