Job summary

Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS) seeks a Construction Field Engineer for site operations on the Savannah River Site. The role directs and coordinates field construction activities across civil, mechanical, electrical, and welding disciplines, ensuring constructability, safety, and compliance.

You will lead planning, design input, and start-up support while coordinating with health and safety teams. Required qualifications include 8+ years of experience (or a degree with senior experience)

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience as an individual contributor in related roles.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field with years of experience.
• Equivalencies to experience and education will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced expertise and support to site operations to resolve technical issues with broad implications.
• Direct, plan, develop, implement, and budget for technical engineering functions in support of projects.
• Interface with vendors to resolve equipment and staffing issues; evaluate new equipment.

Skills

Construction field engineer experience

Code knowledge (IBC/ACI/OSHA)

Education

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field

Master's Degree in a relevant field
