Job summary

OHM Advisors, the Community Advancement firm, seeks a Site Design Project Manager in Columbus to lead civil engineering design for private development projects on residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

You will guide scopes, coordinate with principals, and ensure quality deliverables from concept through construction, while mentoring staff and supporting business development efforts.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of progressive site design or land development experience, including private development projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proven experience managing project teams, client relationships, budgets, and schedules.
• Strong technical knowledge of grading, stormwater management, utilities, and construction documents.
• Knowledge of development regulations, permitting processes, and accessibility standards.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Technical Oversight: manage multiple site design projects, ensure quality and compliance.
• Project Management: oversee scope, budgets, schedules, staffing, and deliverables.
• Staff Management & Mentorship: guide site design staff and staff projects effectively.
• Collaborate with principals, leadership, and subconsultants to ensure on-time delivery.
• Develop proposals and support business development for private development opportunities.
• Oversee construction-phase services, including site visits and RFIs.
