Job summary

OHM Advisors is seeking a Site Design Project Engineer to lead civil site design for new construction and redevelopment projects across residential, commercial, and industrial markets. You will work with Project Managers to shape scope, schedules, and budgets while guiding technical design from concept through construction.

You will mentor engineers and design staff, coordinate with clients and regulators, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
• PE license is required or in process; PE preferred.
• Experience with grading, stormwater management, utilities, and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil site design for private development projects from planning through construction.
• Partner with Project Managers to define tasks, schedules, and budgets.
• Prepare engineering plans, calculations, reports, specs, and cost estimates.
• Design grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and site improvements.
• Apply development regulations and accessibility standards; support permitting.
• Collaborate with clients, multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
• Mentor engineers and design technicians; provide technical guidance.
• Facilitate QA/QC reviews for project deliverables.
• Provide construction support through site visits and RFIs.
