Job summary

OHM Advisors is seeking a Site Design Project Engineer to lead civil design for private land development projects. You will drive design from concept through construction, guiding scopes with project teams and maintaining quality, schedule, and budget.

Strong client relationships and regulatory acumen are essential. The role requires a Michigan PE license and 5–10 years of site design experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and related modeling tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Michigan PE license required.
• 5–10 years of Site Design/Civil Engineering or Land Development experience.
• Experience preparing construction documents and plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering design for land development projects from concept to construction.
• Guide project scope with Project Managers and ensure adherence to plans, schedule, and budget.
• Oversee design team, QA/QC, and client communications.
• Plan and design construction and redevelopment sites with regulatory compliance.
• Develop engineering plans, reports, studies, and technical memoranda.
• Coordinate with regulators, utilities, and external consultants.
