Job summary

Bowman Consulting seeks a Civil Project Manager in Alpharetta/Suwanee, GA to lead complex civil projects from planning through execution. You will manage scope, budgets, and schedules, coordinate with internal teams, and foster strong client relationships to drive project profitability.

The role requires a growth‑oriented leader with a track record in senior project oversight, development of new business, and delivery of high‑quality design work for residential developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
• Registered Professional Engineer strongly preferred.
• Eight or more years in civil engineering with at least 3 years in assistant PM.
• Single family land development experience required.
• Thorough understanding of municipal codes and regulations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, AES, CIVILD, WSPGW, PCSWMM, StormCAD, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Storm Drain Modeling and Rational Method Hydrologic Calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform project development for complex projects, including scope, budgets and estimates.
• Provide day‑to‑day project management on multiple projects to meet milestones.
• Prepare designs, specifications, plans, estimates and reports.
• Review cost sheets and manage monthly billings within budget.
• Monitor work-in-process and accounts receivable collection efforts.
• Maintain client relationships and coordinate with design teams and contractors.
• Support marketing presentations and help secure repeat business.
• Supervise project personnel to meet professional standards.
