Job summary

Langan is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Civil Engineering to join its collaborative team remotely. This role leads design, permitting and client management for diverse land development projects across the U.S. and abroad, with opportunities to partner with top industry leadership.

You will drive site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, and SWPPP work while expanding the firm’s client base and ensuring project success through planning, budgeting and oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of site/civil engineering experience in land development on small and large projects.
• Professional Engineering license.
• Experience designing and overseeing site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion control from concept to completion.
• Strong client development and client management abilities.
• Proficiency of AutoCAD or Civil 3D preferred.
• Active participation in professional organizations.
• Experience in technical and proposal writing with strong attention to detail and analytical judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Travel may be required based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and permit residential, institutional, commercial centers, warehouse distribution centers, and mixed-use projects for public and private clients.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop growth plans and staffing utilization.
• Lead business development by cultivating new clients and maintaining relationships with existing ones.
• Oversee site/civil work including layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, and erosion control from concept through completion.
• Lead storm water management design and SWPPP preparation.
• Integrate geotechnical and environmental engineering within land development projects.
• Perform other duties as requested.
