Job summary

Langan is seeking a Senior Staff Civil Engineer to join its collaborative team remotely. This role focuses on planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects, with exposure to mixed‑use developments, shopping centers, residential, higher education, federal, and other exciting land development projects in a continuous learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• EIT certification required; PE preferred.
• 3+ years of site/civil design experience including site planning, grading, drainage, and stormwater.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented; team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and modification of reports, plans, schedules, cost estimates and design plans using engineering software.
• Analyze reports, maps, drawings, and topographic data to inform planning and design.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal land use permitting is a plus.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.
• Perform other job duties as requested.
