Job summary

Langan is seeking a Project Civil Engineer / Project Manager to join its collaborative team remotely. This role coordinates the planning, design and permitting of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects, while coaching staff and fostering a team-oriented environment.

You will work with healthcare, higher education, distribution, and commercial sectors across the U.S., leading multi-disciplinary projects, managing budgets and schedules, and developing new clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Valid Professional Engineer license (PE).
• 6+ years of site/civil land development experience.
• Knowledge of local land use processes and regulations.
• Strong client development and management abilities.
• Experience designing site layout, grading, drainage, and infrastructure.
• Experience managing projects from concept to construction documents.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and permitting of civil projects.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Oversee budgets, schedules and staffing.
• Prepare reports and feasibility studies.
• Provide hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and SWPPP support.
• Mentor staff and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
• Support growth initiatives with leadership.
