Job summary

Langan is seeking a Project Civil Engineer / Project Manager to join its Phoenix, AZ team. This role coordinates the planning, design and permitting of civil, land development and infrastructure projects, while coaching and supervising staff.

You will work with a multi-disciplinary team on healthcare, higher education, distribution, K-12, commercial and mixed-use projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget control and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
• 6+ years of site/civil land development experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and permitting of civil and land development projects; coordinate with clients.
• Design site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control from concept to completion.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and pursue new work.
• Manage multiple projects within budgets, schedules and deadlines; monitor budgets and timelines.
• Prepare and review reports including feasibility studies, stormwater management, and utility reports.
• Provide hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and SWPPP preparation expertise.
• Collaborate with leadership to grow the business and optimize staff utilization.
• Perform other duties as required.
