Jobot is seeking a civil engineering leader in Texas to drive the design process for public works and land development projects. You will lead design teams, manage documentation, and oversee QA/QC as part of risk mitigation. Candidates should have strong experience in preliminary engineering and subdivision planning.

Qualifications

• Lead design process from design and documentation standpoint for public works and land development projects.
• Develop or perform QA/QC processes for project risk mitigation.
• Preliminary engineering design studies considering site constraints and regulatory issues.
• Preparation/processing of tentative and final subdivision maps.
• Preparation/processing of public improvement plans for public agencies and development plans for commercial and residential developments.
• Preparation and review of hydrologic studies and drainage reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining positive client interaction from contract negotiation to construction completion.
• Coach, mentor, and provide performance feedback related to technical proficiency.
• Provide design leadership examples to project teams and the office.
• Communicate effectively with sub-consultants, agencies, and events.
• Make timely, well-reasoned decisions and involve appropriate people in the process.
