Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Hybrid - Municipal Lead with a PE license to guide civil engineering projects for public sector clients. You will lead engineers and technicians, ensure designs meet regulatory standards, and coordinate across departments to deliver on time and on budget.

With a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and 10+ years in municipal engineering (including 2 in PM), you will leverage Civil3D and AutoCAD, mentor staff, and drive continuous improvement while enjoying comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of municipal engineering experience, with at least 2 years in project management.
• Proficiency in Civil3D and AutoCAD software.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Strong knowledge of municipal engineering principles, practices, and methods.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers and technicians in the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of municipal engineering projects.
• Utilize Civil3D and AutoCAD software to design and review engineering plans and drawings.
• Coordinate with other departments, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Oversee the preparation of engineering reports, proposals, and presentations.
• Ensure all engineering work complies with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of municipal engineering services.
• Participate in meeting with clients to discuss project plans and address any concerns.
