Actalent is seeking a Civil Project Manager / PE candidate to lead land and site development projects in Greenville, SC. You will own projects from planning through construction, guiding a team and coordinating with clients and regulators to deliver grading, drainage, water, and sewer designs.

The role emphasizes staying technically involved while managing scope, budget, and schedules, with direct client contact and field support. On-site collaboration is core to the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• EIT pursuing PE license.
• PE license.
• 8+ years civil engineering/design experience.
• Strong land development/site development knowledge.
• Hands-on AutoCAD Civil 3D experience.
• Experience designing grading, storm drainage, water, sewer, site utilities.
• Experience navigating permitting/regulatory approvals.

Responsibilities

• Leading civil/site development projects from planning and design through permitting and construction.
• Developing site designs involving grading, storm drainage, water, sewer, and utilities.
• Using AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop and refine designs.
• Preparing grading plans, drainage reports, engineering calculations, and construction documents.
• Leading permitting and coordinating with local and state regulatory agencies.
• Preparing technical specifications and bid documents.
• Managing project scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Working directly with clients, contractors, engineers, designers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Supporting construction through site visits, field observations, and contractor coordination.
• Helping guide engineers and designers while maintaining ownership of overall project execution.
• Identifying design challenges early and developing practical solutions.
