Job summary

Core States Group seeks a Senior Civil Project Manager to lead complex land development projects across site/civil disciplines. You will coordinate with architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural teams from conception through construction administration, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to standards.

You will mentor junior engineers, assess risk, and drive quality and efficiency while managing client relationships and project profitability. Scottsdale-based hybrid role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• P.E. would be a plus but not required.
• 10+ years of Civil Engineering Project Management experience in site/civil production, preferably with commercial projects.
• MS Office proficiency is required.
• Experience with Civil 3D and AutoCAD is expected.
• Demonstrated ability to identify practical uses for AI tools to improve team processes and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects for multiple clients, ensuring timelines are met and communicated.
• Lead a primary client contact and maintain strong client relationships.
• Manage project financials including budgets, profits, and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and negotiate proposals and contracts with clients and sub-consultants.
• Coordinate project plans, allocate resources, and monitor schedules within parameters.
• Oversee design criteria and review engineering calculations for quality and constructability.
• Mentor Project Engineers and Designers and ensure QA/QC across projects.
• Support business development through new client pursuits and risk assessment.
