Job summary

Bohler is seeking a Civil Project Manager for its Mechanicsburg, PA office to lead complex land development projects across Central Pennsylvania. You will oversee projects from concept to construction, balancing design quality, client satisfaction, and financial performance.

You’ll act as the main client contact, guide multidisciplinary teams, and drive successful delivery for commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of civil/site design and permitting experience in land development.
• Proven success in managing project delivery and client relationships.
• PE license preferred; strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project delivery, including design, permitting, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Serve as the primary client contact and ensure expectations are met through clear communication and proactive leadership.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Assistant Project Managers and technical staff.
• Oversee financial performance, including contracts, invoicing, and change management.
• Present at public hearings, client meetings, and community sessions as needed.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on business development and account growth.
• Promote quality control, innovation, and continuous improvement within your team.
