Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. in Austin, TX is seeking a Civil Project Manager to lead complex civil engineering projects, manage budgets, and grow client relationships. You will coordinate with internal teams, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality design and on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes business development, profitability, and effective communication with clients, offices, and contractors, with potential for remote or hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
• Professional Engineer licensure strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of civil engineering experience with at least 3 years in assistant PM.
• Land development experience including residential and commercial.
• Thorough understanding of municipal codes and regulations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, AES, CIVILD, WSPGW, PCSWMM, StormCAD, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; ability to write reports and develop submittals.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management and direction to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Assist with marketing to establish new clients and strengthen current relationships.
• Coordinate with internal departments to meet project requirements and profitability.
• Develop project designs, budgets, scopes, and bid summaries.
• Review cost sheets, billings, and manage cash flow and WIP.
• Maintain client relationships and coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, and agencies.
• Support with marketing presentations and new business development.
• Supervise staff to meet professional standards and quality.
• Liaise with clients on technical requirements, changes, and billing inquiries.
