Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Land Development team in Staunton, VA.

This full-time role focuses on executing land development civil engineering projects, supporting plan set production, and coordinating with internal teams and local authorities to obtain approvals. The position demands strong CAD/Civil3D skills, project management capabilities, and QA/QC discipline.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of land development engineering design experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or eligible for licensure within 6–12 months.
• Proficient in CAD/Civil3D and related production software.

Responsibilities

• Execute land development civil engineering projects to meet schedules and budgets.
• Support land development teams to produce civil plan sets.
• Manage internal support teams and communicate schedules and budgets.
• Implement QA/QC programs and ensure project team compliance.
• Collaborate with City/County staff for plan approvals.
• Lead and allocate resources across multiple projects and stages.
• Oversee construction services, RFIs, and site meetings.
