Job summary

W&A Engineering in Athens, GA seeks a Senior Civil Project Engineer to lead land development projects, from site layout and grading to permitting, coordinating with clients and teams, and delivering plans for residential, commercial, multifamily, and industrial sites. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with 5+ years of project experience, strong teamwork and communication, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

EIT is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 5+ years of project engineering experience.
• Experience with residential, commercial, multifamily, or industrial land development.

Responsibilities

• Site layout, grading, utilities, and stormwater management design.
• Multitask in a fast-paced, collaborative environment across multiple offices.
• Coordinate permits and municipal outreach.
• Prepare site construction documents and cost estimates.
• Conduct due diligence and site analyses; develop design solutions.
