Job summary

BC.E is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead land development projects across residential, industrial, and commercial sectors in Georgia. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, mentor junior staff, and manage complex site development projects from conception through completion.

Responsibilities include coordinating with jurisdictions, reviewing calculations, and ensuring compliance with regulations, while driving business development and maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• P.E. license in Georgia or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 8+ years of experience in land development and site design.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee civil site design projects including grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control
• Review and approve engineering calculations, construction drawings, and technical specifications
• Coordinate with local jurisdictions, review boards, and regulatory agencies
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams
• Manage client relationships and participate in business development activities
• Ensure project compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Perform quality control reviews of engineering deliverables
