Job summary

Epstein Architecture, Engineering and Construction seeks a Senior Project Engineer for our Civil team in Chicago. The ideal candidate has 12+ years of transportation/civil design, leads technical teams, and interacts with clients on local community projects.

Must hold a PE license, be proficient in Microstation, and have OpenRoads Designer experience. Illinois standards knowledge is preferred. We offer a strong benefits package and a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven civil engineering design experience in transportation projects.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Leadership and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare analysis and design calculations per standards using relevant software.
• Produce technical reports, contract plans, specs and cost estimates.
• Mentor junior staff and manage project development.
• Coordinate with clients, subconsultants and other disciplines.
