10-4 Engineering PLLC, a Chicago-based structural engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Roadway Engineer (7+ years) and a Senior Roadway Manager (12+ years) with an Illinois PE to lead design, project management, and team development on highway projects. You will coordinate with geotechnical, drainage, traffic, and utility disciplines to deliver high-quality transportation solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Illinois PE license required.
• 8–15 years of roadway design experience; IDOT/Tollway projects preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead roadway design and provide technical guidance.
• Prepare plans, specs, and cost estimates to IDOT/Tollway standards.
• Act as PM or Engineer of Record; manage scoping, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Coordinate with structural, geotechnical, traffic, and utility disciplines.
• Communicate with clients and agencies; represent the firm at industry events.
• Mentor junior engineers and grow the roadway team.
• Contribute to proposals and strategic project pursuits.
