Job summary

Consertus is seeking a Project Manager, Civil Engineering, a senior technical leader responsible for managing clients, leading civil design, and guiding project delivery from concept through permitting and construction support. The role requires a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and hands-on design experience, reporting to the Vice President of Engineering.

It combines technical leadership with project management for infrastructure and site development projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of progressive site design experience.
• Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
• Multi‑jurisdictional project experience preferred (municipal, county, state).

Responsibilities

• Serve as Technical Lead for the Civil Engineering group.
• Provide hands-on engineering design and oversight across stormwater, drainage, water and wastewater, and roadway design.
• Ensure compliance with State DOT standards and local regulations.
• Seal documents as required and maintain responsible charge.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and client communications.
• Coordinate activities among internal teams, subconsultants, vendors, and agencies with financial oversight.
