Job summary

Consertus is seeking a Project Manager, Civil Engineering to lead civil design, manage clients, and oversee project delivery from concept through permitting and construction support. A licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) with hands‑on design experience is required; reports to the Vice President, Engineering.

The role blends technical leadership, project management, and client facing responsibilities across public- and private-sector infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive site design experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Multi-jurisdictional project experience (municipal, county, state).
• Prior experience serving as Engineer of Record.
• BS in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or Environmental Engineering from ABET-accredited four-year college.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Technical Lead for the Civil Engineering group.
• Provide hands-on engineering design and oversight, including Stormwater management, H&H, drainage, erosion control, water/wastewater, and road design.
• Perform and/or oversee technical reviews to ensure compliance with standards.
• Seal engineering documents as required and maintain responsible charge.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and staffing; oversee client communications and deliverables.
• Coordinate project activities among internal teams, subconsultants, vendors, and agencies; provide financial oversight including budgets, changes, invoicing, revenue and accruals.
