Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a heavy civil and site-development program at a new semiconductor campus in Clay, NY. You’ll oversee a multi-contractor environment, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive completion of open RFIs, submittals, and design clarifications on a fast-paced schedule.

The role requires hands-on leadership, the ability to move between executive discussions and field talks, and accountability for delivering high-value project outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of project-management experience on large, fast-paced construction projects.
• Strong experience with heavy civil construction, site development, earthwork, grading, underground utilities, roads, or infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a project across field operations, documentation, scheduling, and team leadership.
• Experience managing RFIs, submittals, drawing reviews, meeting follow-ups, and customer communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage the clients heavy civil and site-development scope from startup through final completion.
• Serve as the client’s primary project-management interface with Gilbane and other key project stakeholders.
• Take ownership of open submittals, RFIs, drawing reviews, customer communication, and overall project documentation.
• Keep RFIs, submittals, approvals, and design clarifications moving without disrupting field production.
• Coordinate closely with Gilbane, Bechtel, Jacobs, subcontractors, and Petillo’s joint-venture partner.
• Lead recurring coordination meetings between project managers, project engineers, superintendents, foremen, and safety personnel.
• Meet weekly with field leadership and safety teams to review project status, upcoming work, risks, and unresolved issues.
• Conduct regular meetings with project engineers and project managers to identify dropped responsibilities and establish clear follow-up actions.
