Haley & Aldrich Inc. is seeking a Senior Civil/Geotechnical Engineer 3 to lead diverse projects from our Walnut Creek, CA office. This full-time role focuses on delivering expert geotechnical and civil engineering services for clients in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

You will mentor teams, manage complex project scopes, and integrate field and laboratory activities with rigorous design and documentation. A California CE/GE license and 12+ years of consulting experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering.
• 12+ years of related professional consulting experience.
• Professional registration or certification in California (CE and GE).
• Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D and geotechnical analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Lead major consulting assignments within geotechnical practice to align with client needs.
• Direct, coach, and support teams across multiple projects with quality execution.
• Provide expert mentoring to staff and drive growth of practice areas.
• Lead technical evaluations, design development, and contract package support.
• Ensure work follows health and safety protocols.
