Based in one of our Illinois or Indiana offices, you will coordinate with clients, engineers, and suppliers, supporting risk analyses and value engineering while delivering precise cost estimates under

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Construction Management
• Proven experience in heavy civil estimating and bid development.

Responsibilities

• Review contract documents to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Prepare preliminary budgets and itemized go/no-go summaries.
• Identify risk and develop cost impact analyses.
• Provide value engineering and strategy through innovative thinking.
• Communicate with clients, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and support bid schedules.
• Present estimates to enable confident decision making.
• Represent the company at pre-bids and site visits.
