Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Civil Estimator in the United States to lead detailed project estimates and bid management across asphalt, grading, drainage, and site development. You will analyze pricing data, review blueprints, and apply DOT standards to ensure precise cost projections.

Proficiency in HeavyBid, AgTek, and Bluebeam is required. The role requires a strong background in civil construction estimating, multi-bid coordination, and clear communication with stakeholders, with a competitive salary

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience as a Civil Estimator in construction.
• Proficiency with HeavyBid and AgTek for estimates and takeoffs.
• Strong knowledge of DOT Standards and their application to estimates.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
• Experience managing multiple bids and performing takeoffs.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project estimates and bids with accurate cost representation.
• Review blueprints, plans, and specs to define scope and requirements.
• Use HeavyBid, AgTek, and Bluebeam for takeoffs and estimation.
• Analyze pricing data and market costs to ensure competitive bids.
• Manage multiple bids simultaneously to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve issues.
