Jobot is hiring a Civil Estimator to join our team in a permanent role. You will estimate costs for diverse construction projects, interpret blueprints, and manage multiple bids while adhering to DOT standards.

The ideal candidate will be proficient with HeavyBid, AgTek, AD Tek, and Bluebeam, and possess strong analytical and communication skills. A detail-oriented professional will thrive in our fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a Civil Estimator in construction.
• Proficient with HeavyBid and AgTek.
• Extensive knowledge of DOT Standards for estimates.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and plans accurately.
• Experience managing multiple bids and performing takeoffs.
• Strong analytical skills for pricing and costs.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.
• Understanding of asphalt, grading, drainage, and site development.
• Detail-oriented with focus on accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project estimates and bids with accurate costings.
• Review blueprints, plans, and specs to understand scope.
• Use HeavyBid, AD Tek, AgTek, and Bluebeam for estimates and takeoffs.
• Analyze pricing data, market trends, and construction costs.
• Manage multiple bids simultaneously and on time.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients.
• Adhere to DOT Standards in all estimations and bids.
• Perform takeoffs for asphalt, grading, drainage, and site development.
• Monitor industry trends to keep estimation processes competitive.
