Randerson Technical Staffing is seeking a licensed Civil Engineering Manager to lead our Civil Design team in the Chicago area. You will oversee 10–12 engineers and designers, guiding technical direction, quality, and project delivery from proposal through construction.

The role requires a PE license (Illinois or reciprocity) and a ABET‑accredited degree. You will manage site development work and coordinate with municipalities, utilities, and clients to achieve successful outcomes.

Formación

• PE license in Illinois or via reciprocity.
• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree.
• Commercial and land development civil site design experience.
• Experience leading and mentoring a team of engineers and designers.
• Strong knowledge of site layout, grading, drainage, utilities and pavement.
• Familiarity with municipal entitlement and permitting processes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and manage a civil design team of 10–12 engineers and designers.
• Serve as engineer-of-record on commercial/private development projects.
• Direct site development work: layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and pavement.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality from proposal through construction.
• Review and stamp drawings, calculations, and reports for code compliance.
• Oversee entitlement, permitting, and coordination with authorities.
• Build client relationships with developers, architects, and property owners; support proposals.
