Job summary

Stratus® is an integrated engineering, architecture, interior design, and consulting firm seeking a Senior Engineer - Civil/Site with strong public sector experience to lead the design of civil/site and utility infrastructure projects, emphasizing water and wastewater systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required; MicroStation is a plus, and a PE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 7+ years in civil/site and utility infrastructure design for public sector.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D required; knowledge of GDOT standards is a plus.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior staff; manage plans and docs with minimal oversight.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• PE license preferred (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil/site and utility design plans for public sector projects.
• Develop plan sets, profiles, details, and construction drawings.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and agency stakeholders.
• Lead junior staff and review work products for quality.
• Support QA/QC and project delivery within schedule/budget.
