Stratus in Atlanta is seeking a Senior Engineer - Civil/Site with strong public sector experience to lead the design of civil/site and utility infrastructure projects, focused on water and wastewater systems. The candidate will prepare plans, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with project managers, clients, and regulators.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required; MicroStation is a plus. PE preferred. This hybrid, full-time role offers a collaborative environment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and 7+ years of civil/site design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and ability to lead junior staff.
• Strong communication and coordination with stakeholders and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil/site and utility plans for public sector projects.
• Develop plan sets, details, and technical drawings for construction documents.
• Coordinate permitting with agencies and review design for quality.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and CAD designers.
• Support project execution, scheduling, and budget adherence.
