Job summary

Platinum Global Talent Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer; Utilities to support the Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP) in the NYC metro tri-state area. The role focuses on utility infrastructure during construction and interfacing with Amtrak, contractors, and utility owners.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in civil engineering with utilities, experience in design-build or progressive delivery, and a NJ/NY PE license. Hybrid project-office work in a major capital program is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (Master's preferred).
PE license in NJ or NY is required or preferred.
Experience with utility infrastructure and construction-phase support.
Proven ability to resolve complex field issues and design changes.

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical SME for utility infrastructure systems during construction (water, sewer, drainage, gas, electric, telecom).
Act as civil/utility SME during construction for Amtrak design-build projects.
Provide technical support to field teams and resolve construction issues.
Review designs against field conditions, constructability, and project constraints.
Coordinate with contractors, Amtrak, utility owners and multidisciplinary teams.
