Job summary

EnTech Engineering, PC is a multidisciplinary firm in New York City, seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to support transportation infrastructure projects and civil works. You will develop planning and design services, assess sites, and lead preparation of technical documentation.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of civil design experience, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
NY State PE License (preferred).
10+ years of civil engineering design experience, preferably involving transportation infrastructure.
Experience with NY metropolitan area municipal clients and agencies is a plus.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other industry-standard design software.
Strong technical writing, analytical, and oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and oversee civil planning and design for transportation infrastructure projects to meet goals.
Evaluate site conditions and review reports, drawings, and as-builts to identify constraints.
Develop conceptual design solutions for roadways, drainage, grading, and utilities.
Perform civil engineering analyses and calculations to support decisions.
Lead preparation and review of design reports, cost estimates, specs, cross sections, and drawings.
Provide construction phase support, including field verification and contractor coordination.
Coordinate with design team to ensure quality and schedule adherence.
Participate in project meetings to maintain alignment on timelines and requirements.
