Job summary

You will develop designs from preliminary to final, prepare calculations and drawings, and assist with MPT plans and traffic management. Strong writing and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2-4 years of civil engineering experience.
• FE exam (preferred) certificate.
• Experience with site drainage and roadways (preferred).
• Familiarity with MPT plans and traffic control design (preferred).
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Detail oriented with focus on quality work.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil planning, design, and construction services for Civil projects ranging from transportation, drainage, grading, erosion/sediment control, storm water management, utilities (i.e., water, sewer, storm drain).
• Development designs from the preliminary through final phase.
• Prepare design calculations and develop design reports.
• Prepare preliminary through final contract drawings and specifications.
• Assist in the preparation of Maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT) plans, including traffic control layouts, construction staging, and temporary traffic management measures.
• Perform site and field investigations required for planning and design.
• Provide engineering services to support projects in construction.
