Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Traffic Engineering.
• 10+ years in traffic/transportation engineering.
• New York PE license required.
• PTOE certification desirable.
• Proficiency in HCM/HCS, Synchro/SimTraffic, VISSIM.
• Experience with NYSDOT/NYCDOT/PANYNJ standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and serve as technical lead on proposals.
• Manage the Traffic Design Group.
• Coordinate with clients such as PANYNJ, NYSDOT, NYCDOT, MTA, NYCDDC.
• Oversee traffic simulation modeling and capacity analyses.
• Evaluate traffic signal operations and provide recommendations.
• Develop and maintain traffic databases and data collection programs.
• Forecast traffic and perform trip generation analyses.
• Prepare technical traffic reports and studies.
• Lead traffic design including pavement markings and signaling plans.
